My practice session was this previous Sunday around noon. I practiced welcome to the black parade and learned to use my left hand in the book. I kept missing the e note in my song and replaced it with an f. Hopefully I will learn to NOT do that.
I could have sworn I posted on your comment already, but it's disappeared into the void! Anyway, you've already recognized that you're making the mistake, which is the first step! Now you just have to work on correcting it. You're halfway there!
Your taste in music is fantastic and I have concluded that we need to be friends, but other than that I completely understand, I keep confusing my notes and it sounds good but then you realize you had it wrong. Keep working on it, can't wait to hear (and most likely sing along).
I was having the same issue in one of my pieces. I continuously kept reaching for the wrong note. I just kept playing the same line over and over again until it was corrected.
